You can either register your domain name yourself and transfer it to WebAlert to host
it for you, or tell WebAlert what name you want and then leave it to us to do for you.

The preferred registration method is for you to let WebAlert complete the process on your behalf.
Full ownership the domain name will be yours. It just help saves on time and administration blunders !

WebAlert will register your domain name at 123-reg.co.uk. Whilst prices vary for registration across the internet WebAlert has found www.123-reg.co.uk to be one of the cheapest around. They also continually review their pricing on a regular basis thus guaranteeing the most competitive rates.

The pricing below sets out their basic pricing structure. It should be noted that generally you will be required to register the domain name for a 2 year period.

Prices do depend upon the domain ending ie .com; .co.uk; .info etc as well as seasonal discounts offered by the domain registrar. Any seasonal discounts received will be passed straight back to you.

If you prefer to register the domain name yourself, we would still recommend using www.123-reg.co.uk as the place to register purely as they are the cheapest we have found. If you find a cheaper source please let us know.

Transferring domain names between hosts can sometimes incur a small charge from the previous hosts as well as
a delay in creating your website. You will be charged a small transfer-in fee but this will only be the charged that WebAlert is charged - there will be NO mark-up in the fees - basically you will be charged what WebAlert is charged.
